(Sacramento) – Student loan debts are a huge problem for college students these days. Many college grads have more then $20-thousand in student loan debt. With that in mind Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) has written legislation to begin a student loan forgiveness program in California. The “Kickstart My Future” measure (Assembly Bill 1767) would provide eligible applicants with a 24-month loan forgiveness program for federal student loans.
