(SACRAMENTO) - Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes honored Peppermint Ridge of Corona as the 60th Assembly District 2018 Nonprofit of the Year at the State Capitol. Since 1959, Peppermint Ridge has worked toward empowering individuals with developmental disabilities.
“For many years, Peppermint Ridge has been a pillar in our region—providing a loving environment where individuals with developmental disabilities can not only survive, but thrive and reach their highest potential,” said Assemblymember Cervantes. “Their noble efforts to ensuring quality care to their residents is truly inspiring and I am proud to recognize them as the 60th Assembly District’s Nonprofit of the Year.”
Peppermint Ridge offers various residential and support services to adults with developmental disabilities, and currently serves nearly 100 individuals throughout 11 homes. It is one of the largest nonprofit organizations in Corona, providing approximately 160 job opportunities in the community.
