Higher education means greater opportunity—the knowledge and skills you gain through education, as well as career and technical training, can be used for the rest of your life. Finding ways to pay for college can be intimidating, but the state of California is here to help.
High schools throughout the 60th Assembly District are hosting Cash for College Workshops where parents and students can receive assistance with filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the CA Dream Act Application. Completing the FAFSA allows qualified students to be considered for the greatest amount of financial aid from federal, state and college sources — and it’s free to fill out.
For more information or assistance with your application, we encourage you and your family to attend one of the following workshops:
Tuesday, February 19
Jurupa Unified School District Parent Center
4850 Pedley Rd, Jurupa Valley
6 p.m.
The deadline to apply is March 2!
