How can we better support those who have served?
Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes invites you to share your experiences and recommendations with the Select Committee on Veteran Employment and Education at a special hearing at the Norco College campus on Wednesday, October 25.
The 60th Assembly District is home to one of the highest ranking colleges for veterans and active duty military members in the country. The Veterans Resource Center at Norco College has a record of supporting the brave men and women who protect and defend our freedoms every day.
Assemblymember Cervantes led the bipartisan effort by the California Legislature to secure funding to help expand the Veterans Resource Center’s services, providing veterans with key resources to aid their transition into higher education and eventually, returning into the workforce. The hearing will be followed by the unveiling of this new Veterans Initiative that will continue to make Norco College a nationwide example for aiding student veterans.
