Dear Veterans, Families, and Friends:
I will be co-hosting a Veterans Recognition Program along with Congressman Mark Takano, Senator Richard Roth, and Assemblymember Jose Medina on Saturday, October 28. We would be honored if you would join us for this important opportunity to recognize the service and sacrifices made by our military veterans. Veterans' contributions to our national defense and the virtues of freedom and democracy are truly unparalleled.
Upon completion of military service, veterans assume many of the careers and occupations in the public and private sectors. This program will honor veterans with notable and significant post-military achievements and those who have made a difference in their communities.
Our offices will be collecting nominations to honor veterans within our communities. Nomination packets must be received no later than October 10, 2017.
