I will be co-hosting a Veterans Recognition Program along with Senator Richard Roth and Assemblymember Jose Medina on Thursday, November 21, 2019. We would be honored if you would join us for this important opportunity to recognize the service and sacrifices made by our military veterans. Upon completion of military service, veterans assume many of the careers and occupations in the public and private sectors. This program will honor veterans with notable and significant post-military achievements and those who have made a difference in their communities.
Our offices will be collecting nominations to honor veterans within our communities. If you would like to nominate a veteran to receive recognition, please complete a Nomination Form. Nominated veterans must reside in one of the following cities or communities: Riverside, Moreno Valley, Perris, Jurupa Valley, Corona, Eastvale, Norco, Mead Valley, Home Gardens, Highgrove, El Cerrito or Coronita.
Nomination packets must be received no later than November 10, 2019. Nomination Packets must be mailed or emailed to District Representative Altie Holcomb at altie.holcomb@sen.ca.gov. Final selections will be made by an independent committee.
