This Memorial Day we all must take a moment to honor the sacrifice of our brave military service members and keep their families in our prayers.
Memorial Day is a day of both commemoration and sorrow, a day to honor our heroes and reflect on their tragic loss. Their sacrifice helped preserve our freedoms and the liberties that we hold so dear. This day also allows Americans to educate each generation on the historical impact of our military through the participation of the community with those who serve.
On this day and every day, we honor the fallen and thank those who have served, and continue to serve our great nation. It is with this sentiment in mind, that I invite you to attend some of the events taking place in our region:
