Cervantes takes Oath as Newest Assemblymember for 60th District

(SACRAMENTO) – Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) was sworn in as the Assemblymember for the 60th Assembly District today.

“I am humbled by the trust that the people have placed in me. I cannot wait to get to work to fight every day for a better future for the incredible residents of Corona, Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Riverside, and Norco in the State Assembly. I am assembling a talented and dedicated staff that will help me focus on constituent services and the critical issues facing our communities of Riverside County." said Assemblymember Cervantes.

Cervantes, a former District Director for State Assemblymember Jose Medina (D-Riverside), also worked as Director for the California Voter Registration Project. Her extensive knowledge in the Riverside community has aided her in understanding the critical elements the residents need to be successful.

The 60th Assembly District is comprised of the communities of Corona, Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Norco, and Riverside. The ceremony was held on the Assembly Floor at the State Capitol.

The oath of office was administered by Supreme Court Associate Justice Mariano-Florentino Cuellar.
