(SACRAMENTO) – “Rescinding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program is contrary to our Nation’s history.
“DACA recipients are law-abiding individuals who hold American values and ideals—attending American schools, serving in our Nation’s military, and contributing to our economy. These are young people who love this country and want nothing more than the opportunity to succeed, and we should not deny their positive contributions to our Nation.
“I urge Congress to act immediately to find a comprehensive solution to our Nation’s immigration policies.”
