(SACRAMENTO) – The following is a statement by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) on the passage of the housing package by the California State Assembly:
"I agree that California is facing a monumental housing crisis. That is why I supported Senate Bill 3, Senate Bill 35, Senate Bill 166, Senate Bill 167, and Senate Bill 540."
"However, I voted against Senate Bill 2 because it contains a regressive tax that disproportionately affects California's middle-class. I was sent to Sacramento to fight for the taxpayers of Western Riverside County, and that is what I intend to continue doing."
