Cervantes Statement on 2019 State of the State Address

For immediate release:

SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) issued the following statement in response to Governor Gavin Newsom’s 2019 State of the State address:

“As the Chair of the Assembly Committee on Jobs, Economic Development, and the Economy, I am pleased that Governor Newsom is taking a broad view on what it will take to support economic growth that includes all Californians. People in the district I represent, and many other communities across the state, have been overlooked for too long. I look forward to working with the Governor to create an inclusive economy that supports upward mobility and independent economic security for all of our state’s working families. We must continue our efforts to support small business development and prepare our workforce to meet our state, regional, and local business needs.”
