Sacramento, CA – Assemblymember Chris Holden and Assemblymember Cristina Garcia, with Eloise Gomez Reyes as principal co-author, introduced Assembly Bill 979, legislation that requires publicly held corporations headquartered in California to have at least one director from an underrepresented community by the close of 2021.

Bill would ensure appropriate oversight and transparency of public funds
