(SACRAMENTO) – Today, Senate Bill 130, which restores critical funding for the newly incorporated cities of Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Menifee, and Wildomar, was approved by the California State Assembly on a bipartisan vote of 72-1.

(SACRAMENTO) – Today, the Assembly Appropriations Committee approved Assembly Bill 179 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) by a vote of 11 to 5. AB 179 would require one of the eleven appointed members of the California Transportation Commission (CTC) to have had experience working on environmental justice issues.

(SACRAMENTO) – The following is a statement by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) on the State Senate’s approval of Senate Bill 130, which would restore needed funding to the cities of Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Menifee, and Wildomar, by a bipartisan vote of 34-0:

(SACRAMENTO) – Today, the Assembly Jobs, Economic Development, and the Economy Committee approved Assembly Bill 162 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) and Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva (D-Orange County) by a bipartisan vote of 7-0. AB 162 would make more small businesses eligible for the California Competes tax cut administered by the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz). The tax cut is available to small businesses that wish to establish a business, or stay and grow an existing business, in California.
