Assembly Committee Approves Cervantes Bill to Make Riverside County Carpool Lanes Flexible

(SACRAMENTO) – This week, the Assembly Transportation Committee approved Assembly Bill 91 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) by a bipartisan vote of 11-2. AB 91 would help ease late-night traffic jams in Riverside County by allowing single occupancy cars to use high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes, commonly known as “carpool lanes,” during non-peak traffic hours.

Assembly Committee Approves Cervantes Resolution to Help Homeowners

(SACRAMENTO) – Today, the Assembly Housing & Community Development Committee approved Assembly Joint Resolution (AJR) 4 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) and Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva (D-Fullerton) by a bipartisan vote of 5-1. AJR 4 calls upon the President of the United States to save California homeowners hundreds of dollars per year in mortgage fees by reinstating an Obama-era Federal Housing Administration (FHA) rule.
