(SACRAMENTO) – Today, Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) introduced Assembly Bill 162, which will allow vehicles in Riverside County to enter and exit high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) freeway lanes, commonly known as “carpool lanes,” at any point by removing existing double-yellow lines.

(SACRAMENTO) – Today, the Assembly Committee on Public Safety unanimously approved Assembly Bill 1994 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona). AB 1994 will provide law enforcement with tools necessary to track registered sex offenders.

(SACRAMENTO) - Today, the Assembly Committee on Higher Education approved Assembly Bill 1767 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) by a vote of 9 to 3. AB 1767 will provide recent college graduates with relief from federal student loans for up to two years after graduation.

(SACRAMENTO) – Today, the Assembly Committee on Revenue & Taxation approved Assembly Bill 1904 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) by a vote of 6 to 0. AB 1904 would provide tax cuts to businesses that employ registered apprentices.

(SACRAMENTO) – Today, the Assembly Committee on Public Safety unanimously approved Assembly Bill 1746 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona). AB 1746 would expedite the process of prosecuting serial perpetrators of sexual battery and statutory rape.

(SACRAMENTO) – Today, the Assembly Committee on Public Safety approved Assembly Bill 1882 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) by a bipartisan vote of 6 to 0. AB 1882 would make it a felony to contact a minor over the internet for the purpose of engaging in human trafficking.
